Dr. Tom Anderson is a body radiologist and the Medical Director of Quality in the Baystate Medical Center Department of Radiology. He is an assistant professor of Radiology for the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School - Baystate and a native of Boston, Massachusetts. He worked as a research technician at Massachusetts General Hospital after graduating from Williams College and then attended medical school at the Warren Alpert Medical School at Brown University. After an internship in internal medicine at Roger Williams Medical Center, Tom moved back to Boston to train as a resident in diagnostic radiology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, serving as Chief Resident in his final year and staying on to complete a year-long fellowship in Body MRI.

Dr. Anderson has held leadership roles in teaching and education throughout medical school and residency and now has the privilege to work regularly with excellent trainees. In his free time, Tom enjoys leveraging web technologies for improving personal and professional efficiency. Many such projects are included on their own tab here, because they were too much work not to share. Tom is also an amateur woodworker and has taught over one hundred people how to solve the Rubik's Cube. He performed for 10 years as a baritone in the Tanglewood Festival Chorus, the official chorus of the Boston Symphony Orchestra and the Boston Pops.
